CJ has been writing for over a decade. Leveraging 12 years of grant and proposal writing and over six years of clinical research experience, they are a development strategist committed to advancing the arts, grassroots community health initiatives, and advocating for racial, gender, and disability justice.

A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College with a strong focus on writing, CJ also hails from a long line of storytellers—print journalists, television broadcasters, radio hosts, artists, and grant writers are all part of their family tree.
